Showpad is looking for a PHP Web Developer

You will work on the backend of the Showpad platform, analyzing and implementing new features, improving performance, and optimizing existing modules. As part of that, you will investigate technologies that may contribute to the scalability, usability, and maintainability of the application. You will also be responsible for extending the API and making sure it continues to work flawlessly with the Showpad app for iPad.

Profile:

• You’re a passionate and experienced web developer with a strong interest in mobile applications
• You have excellent knowledge of OOP in PHP and MVC architecture
• You have good communication skills
• You work accurately and test your code extensively
• You’re confident working with relational (MySql) databases
• You have a good knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript (jQuery)
• You feel comfortable working on the Linux command line

Junior Mobile software engineer

Responsibilities

• Rapidly prototype, and develop scalable and reliable mobile applications (native and web).
• Work under the supervision of a senior mobile software engineer.
• Translate technical specifications into a top notch product

Requirements

• Experience in building mobile applications.
• Strong interest in product design and building appealing user interfaces.
• Good knowledge of iOS SDK or Android SDK, Mobile Web App Development (HTML5, CSS, Javascript, WebKit), JSON & XML parsing, REST API’s.
• Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred.
